About the Organisation



Rural Financial Counselling Service NSW (Northern Region) is a not-for-profit organisation that hosts government funded programs to foster regional economic development in the north eastern region of New South Wales.



RFCSNSW-NR has experienced Rural Financial Counsellors based in Armidale, Casino, Glen Innes, Inverell, Macksville, Moree, Narrabri, Scone, Tamworth, Taree and Tocal. This team of experienced specialists service the regions surrounding these locations. They provide confidential, free and impartial rural financial counselling service to primary producers, fishers and small rural businesses experiencing financial difficulties.



About the Opportunity



Rural Financial Counselling Service NSW (Northern Region) now has an opportunity for a Rural Financial Counsellor to join their team in Tamworth, NSW. This position is being offered on a full-time, or part-time fixed term contract, through to June 2019.



As a Rural Financial Counsellor you will be primarily responsible for providing assistance to primary producers, fishers and small rural businesses experiencing financial difficulties by analysing their financial circumstances and identifying their financial and business options. You will help clients identify ways to become self-reliant and better equipped to manage change and adjustment.

For your hard work and dedication you will be rewarded with a remuneration package circa $80,000 - 90,000K depending on experience and qualifications. Salary packaging up to $15,900 plus a vehicle for work and limited private use is also included.



In addition to the financial benefits, you will enjoy an intensive induction and training program when you join the organisation, ensuring you are equipped with all the tools you need to hit the ground running.



Please note: Due to the broad region that this role services, it is expected that the successful applicant live in Tamworth or surrounds and have a current, unrestricted driver's license. There is also the possibility that this person will be required to work from home.
