We do this through education, counselling, and community support - encouraging and strengthening individuals, couples, and families to continue to develop and grow in all areas of their lives.

CentacareCQ has an opportunity for part-time Direct Care Workers and Home Help Workers to join their Community Care Service team based in Mackay.

This position operates as a member of CentacareCQ's Community Care Service Team. More specifically, some of your key duties will include:

* Provide a range of services to clients as per client care plan/roster;

* Provide feedback to line manager regarding client condition and reports immediately any deterioration or change; and

* Use and promote interpersonal skills to provide an atmosphere in which client and worker are respected, supported and encouraged to optimise their individual potential and independence.

About the Benefits

The successful candidate will also enjoy a range of outstanding benefits, including:

* In-service training and professional development (you will receive extensive induction before commencing employment, as well as ongoing development opportunities);
