 Job Description
About Our Client

Born from the efforts of Aboriginal people to establish a health service that addressed the unmet needs of Aboriginal people in the local area, our client has the mission of ensuring that Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health education and training is culturally relevant, based on good practice, and serves the needs of both industry and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities.

About the Opportunity

Our client now has an exciting opportunity for a Practice Manager (Registered Nurse) to join their Clinical Services team on a full time basis.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for leading the clinic and administration team by providing day-to-day supervision and support, ensuring clients have optimal access to services and the ongoing support of a safe and friendly environment.

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and previous experience as a Clinic Coordinator / Practice Manager. You'll come from a background working in an Aboriginal community controlled organisation, community health service and/or GP practice with continuous quality improvement experience. As performance management is a key component of this role, it's crucial you have demonstrated experience in management within a multi-disciplinary team.

About the Benefits

This is an exciting chance to expand your horizons and develop your skills working in a multicultural environment. Ongoing training and development opportunities are available. You will find this role challenging and rewarding as you see the positive changes you promote making a real difference to people's lives.

For your hard work and dedication, you will receive an excellent remuneration package (commensurate with skills and experience) plus salary sacrificing up to $15,950 to help increase your take-home pay. In addition, you will also receive housing subsidy.

Applications from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander candidates are strongly encouraged.
